Livi & Sam // The Holt
Sam and Livi got married in summer and had their festival themed celebration at The Holt, which is cafe bar in Sheffield. They had ceremony at The Church of the Nazarene, which is their the local church. It was such a fun wedding and I was so glad to have been invited along!
The ceremony was a beautiful service in their nearby church not far from Sheffield city centre. The Church of the Nazarene is a stunning church, filled with light and great for photographs. During the ceremony they had several beautiful readings from friends and family. It was so emotional and such a personal service.
The reception was held at The Holt. They chose the venue because it has so many options and they could totally personalise it. It was a really personal wedding, which I really liked. I love shooting really personal weddings because generally the couple are so relaxed as their wedding is really all about them.
For dinner they had a meal provided by The Real Junk Food Project. The whole meal was made up of foods that would have otherwise gone to waste which I thought was just a fantastic idea – and it was absolutely delicious! The first dance was a romantic slow dance and they finished off the evening with a good old knees up!
The best part of the day was whisking Livi and Sam off for some beautiful couple portraits, because it gave them chance to reflect on the day so far and they have some epic shots to look back on!
Livi and Sam’s wedding was everything I love about weddings and just the happiest occasion. Here’s their gorgeous wedding! If you’re planning a festival wedding, get in touch!
