Sarah & Jim // Sentinel Brewery

Sarah and Jim got married at the grand Sheffield Town Hall, back in July. It was an awesome, eclectic wedding, with so much colour.

The ceremony took place at the local town hall in Sheffield. The ceremony area was a lovely room, which was so nice, because it was an intimate wedding. It was a wonderful ceremony, full of nervous giggles and excited hand squeezes.

After the ceremony, we went to Sheffield’s own Winter Gardens, luckily there was a band playing and it gave the couple chance to have a bit of a dance – I got some great shots! Then we all took a walk down to Silversmith’s restaurant where Sarah and Jim were having their meal. I got some awesome candid photos in front of some graffiti – we are so lucky in Sheffield to have some really great urban back drops for photographs. The weather was all sunshine and blue skies, it was a beautiful day.

For the reception, the couple had planned an intimate meal at Silversmiths, complete with a personal cocktail menu and everyone loved it. Here, we heard the speeches which provided many laughs!

After the meal was finished, the couple and their party moved on to The Sentinel Brewery, and it was here that the party really kicked off! The live brass band kept everyone entertained all evening and a real highlight was Sarah getting her brass on and joining in with the band!

The evening ended with a sunset photo shoot overlooking Sheffield City Centre, which was incredible and provided some unforgettable shots. The whole wedding was so much fun, from the beautiful vows to the last dance. One of the best things about this wedding was actually the walking from venue to venue, because it resulted in some really special moments for the couple and their guests.

I loved this eclectic wedding so much. If you’re getting married and looking for a wedding photographer who can cope with multiple venues, get in touch. Here are the photos!
